Very polite service throughout from check in to check out. Thoughful in loaning us futon mats for our Kagura show. Breakfast was decent.Parking is mainly at the back though there are plenty of lots. A back door to the hotel from the csrpark would be nice instead of having to walk along the driveway. We thought we had left a pouch of our memory cards behind and probably sounded a but grouchy later that evening after we had checked out when we called to enquire but the staff on the line were very patient in trying to help. Anyway we found it later on in another bag. Very short stay but can't really complain about anything.

Stylish room with a terrace - an extremely fair price for a stay of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Egg shaped bath tub (better than the first photo in the booking site) with upscale amenities in the bathroom. It’s almost like a spa experience. Breakfast was amazing with proper coffee machine (even for ice coffee), really good toast (expensive toaster) and good selection. Front desk extremely helpful - recommended us to go for a local performance in the evening - we were offered seating cushions to bring with us to the performance. They also recommended dinner place and the beef was amazing.

This was a very nice stay in Takachiho. The staff was very friendly, and gave us recommendations for dinner when we checked in. They even booked a table for us, and the dinner was very good. Our hotel room was cozy, and a bit bigger than usual Japanese hotels. The bed was big and comfortable. An extra bonus was that we could borrow pillows for the Kagura theater in the evening at the nearby temple. The hotel also has a big parking lot where you can stay for free.

The location is perfect- 5 minutes drive from Takachiho gorge and right in the center of the town. The building is new, the parking lot is free and large and the room is very convenient. The overwhelming was the manager of the hotel, Mr. Shibata, who gave us exellent advice and super warm treatment. He was very patient, gave us alot of important information and thanks to him, we've seen all the amazing sites in the area. We hope to come back in the spring :-)

Breakfast was mostly traditional Japanese with some western inclusions. It was fresh and well displayed. Kitchen staff were checking the buffet and rearranging platters to make the food appealing, and replenishing when needed. I thought the breakfast was great. The room was a bit small but had quality inclusions. I liked that there was a full size lounge to sit on.
